Fair Complexions
If you have a fair complexion, pick a red lipstick in a warm tone. Your choice may have a touch of orange in it. Think of tomato reds, cherry and coral reds. For a darker shade, pick wine.

Medium Complexions
If you have medium skin tone complexion, you may choose cool or warm reds. Shades in orange-red and purple-red are great.

Dark Complexions
If you have a dark complexion, pick cool reds. Stay away from orange. Think of blue based shades like plum, maroon and raspberry.

If you have yellow/gold undertones, pick warm reds.
