The Merriam-Webster defines confidence as the feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something. The more confidence you have, the more you accomplish and by default, the happier you are. If something can bring this much good, why not nurture it? I think we can all use more confidence. Don’t you?
Here are seven tips to boost yours :)
Tip #1 Live in The Moment
Yep! Whatever you are doing right now, just be present. Don’t think about what you will do later while reading this email. Just read…Live in the moment and you’ll see how your stress will decrease and your joy will increase.
Tip #2 Be Your Best
It’s not about perfection. It’s about advancing, working on your goals, knowing you are being productive and doing the best you can every day. That’s fulfilling.
Tip #3 Take Care of Your Body
Meditate, workout, read…do whatever you need to take care of heart, mind and soul.
Tip #4 Reward Yourself
You did something good? Accomplished a goal? Do a happy dance. Get yourself that new nail polish color you’ve wanted to try. If you treat your family with love and tenderness, why not treat yourself the same way?
Tip #5 Smile
When you smile, you release dopamine, endorphins and serotonin. These relax your body, lower your heart rate and blood pressure, relieve pain, lift your spirit and more!
Tip #6 Dress Up & Put On Your Face
Take care of your hair, do your makeup and wear something you like. It will immediately boost your mood and give you confidence. Knowing you look your best, gives you the confidence to be yourself and let your personality sparkle. Who doesn’t like sparkle?
Tip #7 Fix What You Need To Fix
If there are things bothering in your life, try to find a way to fix them. That’s the only way they will disappear or become more manageable. If you don’t know how to fix it, then find someone who can. Ask the questions. It’s your life.
