Style Guide For Busy Moms On The Go
When it comes to being a busy mom, layers and accessories are your best choices if you want to maintain a look that is professional, polished and comfortable. Why? Because they are easy to add on or take off, they are small enough to keep them handy and they can upgrade your outfit in seconds.
Before I share with you three examples I have put together, let me lay a foundation of styling principles to make this process as easy as pie for you.
Pick handbags that are big enough to carry all your essentials throughout the day and strong enough that they won’t get damaged at your child’s games.
Buy clothes made in breathable fabrics that don’t wrinkle easily because remember you will end your day outside joining the bleacher crowd. Think about cotton, chambray and rayon. If you live in an area with cold weather, then you have more flexibility with fabrics. However, wrinkled tops never look chic, okay ;)
Always keep a black blazer, light open sweater and a pair of sneakers in the car.

Look #1:
PTA Meeting: jeans, sweater/cotton top, flats, structured bag and fun jewelry
Meeting with Clients: add a structured jacket or blazer
Soccer Game: sport jacket and sneakers
Look #2:
PTA Meeting: Harem pants, dressy top, heels or sandals, tote bag and statement jewelry
Networking Event: add a shawl and don't forget a notepad
Soccer Game: switch the shawl for a light open sweater and comfty flats
Look #3:
PTA Meeting: cotton pants, cotton top, dressy vest, pumps, classic jewelry and bucket bag
Office: pick up your office bag and laptop
Kid's Activities: switch the vest for a kimono or light jacket, switch heels for comfty falts
